We count the mushroom extract or powder a label states per serving, whatever the pack size or the serving size, so every product sits on one scale. Reishi at a glance

Reishi is a mushroom long used in East Asian traditional medicine and now sold in Britain as capsules, powders and extracts. Most people take it for tiredness and everyday stress, and more generally as an immune and antioxidant supplement; a smaller amount of research has also looked at cholesterol and blood sugar. Small trials suggest some improvement in fitness, mood and antioxidant markers, though the cholesterol and blood sugar research, the largest body of it, has mostly found no clear difference. Reported side effects across the trials were generally mild. In online discussions, people describe taking it for sleep, immune health or memory, usually alongside another supplement rather than on its own.
