These terms cover your use of perdose.co.uk, run by Patrick Linsdell trading as PerDose, 75 Gillbent Road, SK8 6NQ. By using the site you accept them.

What the site is

PerDose compares the prices of supplements sold by UK retailers, worked out per standard dose. It does not sell anything. When you buy, you buy from the retailer, on the retailer’s own terms, and any question about an order, delivery or a return goes to them.

Prices and product details

Prices, stock and product details come from the retailers’ own feeds and pages, and every price shows the date it was checked. They can change at any time, and the price the retailer shows at checkout is the one that applies. The price per dose is worked out from what each label states, with the working shown under every row. Mistakes are corrected and listed on the corrections page, but no figure can be promised right at every moment: check the label and the price on the retailer’s site before you buy.

Not medical advice

The site compares prices. It does not recommend what to take or how much: a standard dose is a unit for comparing prices, not a dose to take. The learn pages and answers are general information about supplements, not advice about you. If you are under 18, pregnant, take medication or have a health condition, speak to a pharmacist or GP before taking a supplement.

Links to retailers

Links to retailers take you to their sites, and many are affiliate links: see the affiliate disclosure. PerDose is not responsible for another site’s content, products or service.

Using the content and the data

The price dataset and the CSV files of the data reports are published under CC BY 4.0: you may reuse them with a credit to PerDose and a link. The rest of the site, its text, tables and design, belongs to PerDose: you may quote short passages with a link to the page they came from, but not copy the site or present it as your own. Product names, photographs and brand marks belong to their owners. Search engines are welcome to crawl the site; for the figures in bulk, use the dataset rather than copying pages.

Responsibility

The site is free and provided as it is. PerDose is not liable for any loss from using it or relying on it, including a price, a stock level or a product detail that changed after it was checked, or a retailer’s own mistake. Nothing in these terms limits a liability the law does not allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The date below changes when they do, and the terms on this page when you use the site are the ones that apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales may hear any dispute about them. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
