What it does
An all-in-one sensor and transmitter, pre-loaded in an applicator that inserts it at the press of a button on the back of the arm or the abdomen. It is worn for up to 10 days plus a 12-hour grace period and sends a glucose reading about every 5 minutes to a phone, smartwatch or Dexcom receiver.
