What it really costs, per 5 mg£79.17One 5 mg dose is our comparison unit for biotin. It is not a recommendation.
A day£79.17
A week£554.17
A month£2375.00
A year£28895.83

At one 5 mg dose a day, this pack lasts under a day. A month is 30 days, so twelve of them is not quite a year.

How we worked it out

Biotin

  • Servings: 60 ÷ 2 per serving = 30
  • In the pack: 30 × 50 µg = 1.5 mg
  • £23.75 ÷ 1.5 mg × 5 mg = £79.17 per 5 mg
  • A week £79.17 × 7 = £554.17 · a month × 30 = £2375.00 · a year × 365 = £28895.83
  • Amount per serving: stated on the label.

Selenium

  • Servings: 60 ÷ 2 per serving = 30
  • In the pack: 30 × 30 µg = 900 µg
  • £23.75 ÷ 900 µg × 100 µg = £2.64 per 100 µg selenium
  • A week £2.64 × 7 = £18.47 · a month × 30 = £79.17 · a year × 365 = £963.19
  • Amount per serving: stated on the label.

Vitamin A

  • Servings: 60 ÷ 2 per serving = 30
  • In the pack: 30 × 400 µg = 12 mg
  • £23.75 ÷ 12 mg × 800 µg = £1.58 per 800 µg
  • A week £1.58 × 7 = £11.08 · a month × 30 = £47.50 · a year × 365 = £577.92
  • Amount per serving: stated on the label.

Vitamin C

  • Servings: 60 ÷ 2 per serving = 30
  • In the pack: 30 × 80 mg = 2.4 g
  • £23.75 ÷ 2.4 g × 1 g = £9.90 per 1 g
  • A week £9.90 × 7 = £69.27 · a month × 30 = £296.87 · a year × 365 = £3611.98
  • Amount per serving: stated on the label.

Zinc

  • Servings: 60 ÷ 2 per serving = 30
  • In the pack: 30 × 5 mg = 150 mg
  • £23.75 ÷ 150 mg × 15 mg = £2.38 per 15 mg zinc
  • A week £2.38 × 7 = £16.63 · a month × 30 = £71.25 · a year × 365 = £866.88
  • Amount per serving: stated on the label.
