Cheapest test that includes it£444.00Ultimate Health Check at Forth, all-in with a vein draw
Tests compared3from 2 providers, checked 29 October 2026
What it measures
The test measures alpha-tocopherol, the main form of vitamin E in the blood. Vitamin E travels with fats in the blood, so labs sometimes compare it with cholesterol or total lipids.
Why people test it
Measured when poor absorption of fats is suspected, for example with cystic fibrosis, coeliac disease or liver disease.
Part of some nutrition panels covering the fat-soluble vitamins.
Taken from a vein. Providers offer it only as a vein draw, at a clinic or with a visiting nurse.
Some labs ask for vitamin supplements to be stopped for two days before the sample.
Every Vitamin E test, cheapest first
Cheapest first, whether the test is of Vitamin E alone (marked "single-marker test") or a panel that includes it. Each price is all-in: the test and the cheapest way to have the blood taken that suits this marker, before any discount code.
