We count the mushroom extract or powder a label states per serving, whatever the pack size or the serving size, so every product sits on one scale. We count the weight of extract per serving. Where a label quotes a “whole herb equivalent” (for example “5,000 mg from a 10:1 extract”), we use the actual extract weight. Branded, standardised extracts are compared separately from unbranded ones.
